Project Description
Genivar's 3D simulation and cognative geomatic department worked with Transport Quebec to design simulations and a presentation of the proposed highway in the north east of Montreal, across Riviere-des-prairies into Laval. We built a Flash-based interactive presentation around these simulations.
A series of 3D simulations and synthesized images proposed changes to the geographic areas were assembled intelligently into a graphic interface. Information is presented in an organized and contextual manner. Navigation is clear and built to guide the user through the project in a logical manner, while at the same time affording maximum user control. The combination of text-based, graphic, 3D simulation, and motion design permit users to easily comprehend the complex concepts.
Via the intuitive interface users can move around the presentation browsing through the sections, viewing video, graphics and illustrations to learn more about and contextually understand the project.
The presentation assembled all the elements into one stand-alone piece which, because it’s built in Flash, can be used in many possible settings including use in assemblies or on the Internet.
