Project Description
RSS is one tool that we frequently are asked to explain. So when PWL thought their site's users needed to know more about it to take advantage of it's power, we took the opportunity to create a video to explain the basics of RSS, not just to PWL's clients but for everyone.
Our first draft of instructional text was way too long. We knew right away that it must be short and too the point because everyone is pressed for time. Thus, was born the concept of "in 100 seconds".
It was the perfect opportunity to get something done that we'd talked of doing for some time. It was also the right time to offer something to our clients that would help them get to know us better and demonstrate some of our expertise.
In essence, created in Flash, the video is a combination of a series of screen captures, images, illustrations and graphics with motion design applied to guide the user through. The motion is synched to the audio track and output for typical view scenarios - online and offline.
