On-site search has become an important navigational tool for large sites. Version 4.1 of the Kentico CMS ships with an enterprise-level search module that is based on the well-known Lucene.Net search engine.
Version 4.1 of the Kentico CMS — published in August 2009 — ships with major improvements in two areas: "Smart Search" and media handling. Here is a small review on these particular updates.
The delivery of Kentico version 4.1 came with the promise that for each bug found in this version, Kentico will plant a tree. So there is a possible positive side to a bug infestation.
